Sleepers

Concrete, hardwood or permapine sleepers can be used as a garden or lawn edge especially where some height is needed to retain soil or mulch.

Concrete sleepers come in many colours and profiles and are usually held in place between either steel 'I' beams or 'C' sections concreted into the ground.

When using hardwood sleepers white ant treatment must be considered.

Plastic sleepers made out of recycled plastic are another option used in some situations.
