Rocks

Bluestone, sandstone and moss rocks used in groups or in walls make great features in garden beds when used as a backdrop for plants planted around them. Grasses in particular look good when planted next to rock formations. Climping plants soften rocks when used in wall situations.

Rocks have the added benefit of retaining soil in some situations.
