Case Study 9
This project involved constructing a front garden from scratch. The garden needed to complement the house while still maintaining river plain views and also to provide access to the front door from the street. Approx. 17 truckloads of soil was brought in to build up the area and create the right slope for the garden providing for a small lawn area out from the verandah of the house.
Some of the origional rocks exposed when the site was first prepared were used as features in this garden. Clay pavers were used to create edges for the lawn areas and for the path and steps to the front door. Roses were used on the edge of the top lawn to define the edge when looking out over the river plains.
Due to the dedicated nurturing and care of this garden by our customer this garden has become an award winning garden in Loxton.
