Case Study 4

This project involved replacing paddock stone retaining walls with Adbrimasonry 'AB aussie' blocks and caps, paved paths and steps using Austral "Firestone red" clay pavers, mulching garden beds with 30mm and 60mm riverpebbles, placing bluestone rocks and planting up. The wall height was set at the house pad level to raise the garden beds around the house with the paths leading down through the walls to the driveway and shed. The same wall blocks were used to surround the outdoor fire area. An area was slated on the top garden bed to define an outdoor area next to the house. A mass of grasses were planted on the top level garden bed to give some 'green' to the area and the lower garden beds were planted up with small shrubs, small trees and grasses around the bluestone rock mounds.
